What are the types of packaging machines suitable for coffee packaging?
We recommend five main types of packaging equipment for coffee roasters and producers:
- Back-seal bag packaging
If speed is your top priority and your bag style does not deviate from simple small packages, then the vertical back-seal powder packaging machine is your best choice.

- Flat bottom/square seal bag (also called gusset bag coffee)
Gusset bag is the only choice for most coffee producers who want to package their products to the iconic type of industry standard. But this machine will be slightly slower in packaging speed, you will sacrifice some speed, but will have the flexibility to create more complex packaging styles.
- Pre-made bags
Just want to automate the filling and sealing of pre-made coffee bags? That's easy: keep it simple with a bag-feeding coffee powder packaging machine. The equipment is easy for novice operators to learn and quick to set up. And if you have multiple bag sizes, you're in luck: changeovers take minutes.

- Strip packaging (also called long strip packaging)
Multi-column coffee powder packaging machines are ideal for packaging ground or powdered coffee products into elongated single-serving packages. Due to the multi-channel setting, the packaging speed is also relatively fast, and four or five coffee strips can be produced by the cutter at one time. If you don't need so many, you can choose a model with fewer columns.

- Bag packaging (also called large bag into small bag packaging)
This machine is essentially two intermittent packaging machines stacked on top of each other: the top machine forms, fills and seals the smaller sub-packs, which are then automatically counted and dropped into the machine below, which forms, fills and seals the large outer packaging bag.
