Because powders are very small particles, in most cases we need to ensure that the environment transported by automated powder food packaging machinery and equipment is sealed to avoid dust. Secondly, the method of transmission must be continuous and uninterrupted, and the carrier must not have too large gaps. The material of the loading equipment must be strong, safe and corrosion-resistant.
According to the above characteristics of powder transportation, there are currently two main powder feeding equipment for automated powder food packaging machinery and equipment:
1. Screw feeding machine: Screw feeder is already a commonly used feeding equipment in the industry. It mainly consists of two parts: screw and hopper. The screw passes through the stainless steel cylindrical shell, and the material is pushed along the inside of the shell through the spiral rotation of the screw to achieve the purpose of transportation. The other end is connected to the screw metering machine. The screw feeder has the characteristics of simple structure, stable operation, high transmission efficiency and easy maintenance.
2.Vacuum feeding pump: The vacuum feeding pump, also known as the vacuum conveyor, is not used as frequently as the screw feeder. It is a dust-free sealed pipeline transportation equipment that uses vacuum suction to transport powder materials. The principle is to use the difference in air pressure to form a high-speed flow of gas in the pipeline, driving the movement of powder materials to complete the transportation. The vacuum loading pump includes a vacuum pump, filter, vacuum bucket and conveying hose. Most of the materials are made of 304 stainless steel. The vacuum feeding pump of automated powder food packaging machinery is maintenance-free, dust-proof, and has low energy consumption.
